Whereas nowadays most vendors offer EDC systems only as "software as a service" (SaaS) in their cloud LibreClinica is an EDC software you can download and install on your server (known as "on premise") have a company help you to do so or let them do everything as in the aforementioned SaaS solutions. With this flexibility it can be perfectly fitted to your needs, level of IT expertise, budget, and data protection requirements (e. g. GDPR/DSGVO).
